Jam out to Olivia Hellman! This 22-year-old Asian-American singer-songwriter is already a rising star in the music scene. The music video of her debut single “Mr. Ego Boy” - a catchy, lighthearted anthem taking on toxic masculinity and self-absorbed guys – has already been viewed over 250,000 times (and counting) on YouTube! Her second single “Prove It!”, a badass “bratty pop” revenge-era song about proving the haters wrong, has also been making waves, with the music video amassing 40,000+ views in just 1 month! Her third single, heartbreaking ballad “Girl Friend”, has touched hearts all across the globe! And her fourth single, "Spoiler Alert”, has received an astounding amount of praise, and the music video has been awarded many accolades across film festivals - including Best Music Video of the Month at the Tracks Music Awards, and was runner up for Best Music Video at the London Music Video Festival. Her most recent single, Catharsis, was released this summer, in which she blended her signature theatrics with her powerhouse vocals in what is easily her best vocal performance yet.
Originally from San Francisco, Olivia honed her craft at NYU Tisch and is a certified triple threat with her singing, acting, and dance skills. Her distinctive BrattyPop genre flawlessly embodies the essence of her generation, fusing elements of pop and rock with a rebellious Gen Z spirit.
Olivia is closing out the summer with the heartbreaking ballad “Highway 17”, a song she wrote inspired by the historic Highway 17 that connects San Jose and Santa Cruz, which is very close to home for Olivia. She uses the twisty California highway as a beautiful metaphor for a toxic and dangerous relationship that’s quickly heading south. With the help of California Highway Patrol, Olivia filmed an accompanying music video this summer on this incredible highway with director Robert Goc (Spoiler Alert).
